Nagpur Municipal Corporation has organised a bike rally on October 2 to mark Clean India Day. The participants in the rally will sp[read message on importance of cleanliness and keeping the city beautiful.
Radhakrishnan B, Municipal Commissioner and Administrator of NMC, has appealed to the citizens to take part in the rally in large numbers. The rally will begin from NMC HQ, Civil Lines, on October 2 at 8 am and it will pass through Meethaneem Durgah, Hislop College, RBI Colony Chowk, Bole Petrol Pump, Traffic Park, Alankar Chowk, Kachipura, Lokmat Square, Dhantoli garden, Mehadia Chowk, Munje Chowk, RUB Cotton Market, Tilak statue, Gandhi Gate, Chitnis Park, Badkas Chowk, and culminate at Town Hall, Mahal.
Later, brand ambassador of the city for cleanliness campaign, winners in competitions held to mark Ganesh festival and representatives of voluntary organisations for extending cooperation during Ganesh festival would be felicitated at 10 am.
