Health education in Marathi will be available in Maharashtra from the next year.
Health Education Minister Girish Mahajan has stated that courses including MBBS, Physiotherapy, Nursing etc can be learnt through Marathi language. However it will not be compulsory.
Health Education through Marathi would help the students from rural areas.
