The Office of Accountant General (Audit)-II, Maharashtra, Nagpur organised a “Walkathon” on the streets of the Civil Lines neighbourhood of Nagpur on November 1, 2022, as part of Vigilance Awareness Week.
During the event, every member of the office’s staff waved placards with messages relating to the office’s main theme, “Corruption-free India for a developed Nation.
” Along the walk, locals were also given pamphlets to help raise awareness about corruption. At 10 AM, Shri Praveer Kumar, Accountant General (A&E)-II, Maharashta, Nagpur, officially kicked off the Walkathon.
Every year, during the week after Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birthday, government offices, public sector organisations, and other public institutions mark Vigilance Awareness Week (October 31–November 6). (31st Oct).
All of the officers and employees of the office enthusiastically participated in the event and helped to make it a success, including Shri R.
