The train carrying Sikh devotees to Nankana Sahib in Punjab province of Pakistan derailed on Saturday. Nine coaches of the special train derailed.
Fortunately, none of the devotees lost life or were seriously hurt in the accident.
In view of the Gurunanak Jayanti on November 8, a large number of devotes from across the world pay visit to Nankana Sahib.
Pakistan Railway Spokesperson said that the special train was going to Nankana Sahib from Karachi.
The accident occurred between Sherkot and Peer Mahal Railway Stations in Punjab province.
The rescue was immediately pressed into action.
Arrangements for the further journey of the devotees were made.
Enquiry into the accident has also been ordered.
