Malvika Bansod performed outstandingly at the recently concluded Hylo Open and reached her career-best world ranking of 35 in the women’s singles.
For the last couple of weeks, Nagpur city’s premier shuttler, Malvika Bansod was placed in world no. 39.
According to the latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings released on Tuesday, Malvika Bansod jumped four spots to secure a world ranking of 35.
She finished in impressive quarter-finals at the Hylo Open BWF World Tour Super 300 tournament in Saarbrucken, Germany which helped her attain a new peak in her career.
Malvika is supported by Vishvaraj Infrastructure Limited (VIL) and is being trained under the guidance of senior coach Sanjay Mishra in Raipur.
