Nagpur’s Indian women boxer Alfiya Pathan defeated Lazzat Kungeibayeva of Kazakhastan 5-0 to storm into the final of the ongoing ASBC Asian Women’s & Men’s Elite Boxing Championships being played at Amman in Jordan, on Wednesday.
Alfiya is trained by NIS coach Ganesh Purohit at Divisional Sports Complex in Mankapur.
Alfiya dominated all the three rounds to book a place in the final of the prestigious competition.
