The Bombay High Court has refused to grant an urgent stay on bail order of Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. He was granted bail by the PMLA court in the morning.
The Enforcement Directorate has moved the High Court against the PMLA order. The High rejected the ED’s appeal for an urgent stay.
The next hearing on the ED appeal has been scheduled for November 10.
Raut was in jail since July 31. On receipt of the copy of the PMLA court, he will be released. He is facing charges of fraud and money laundering in the Patra Chawl redevelopment case.
