The Nagpur- Shirdi stretch of the Samruddhi Expressway will be inaugurated by the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 11, 2022.
Amazing views while on the journey can be experienced by the travellers, the drivers can run the vehicles at a more faster speed. The starting point of the greenery view is situated right at the entrance that is Shivmadka in Higna Tehsil.
A circle-shaped intersection will be seen in an area of about 70,685 square metres with greenery all around, and a garden followed by a wonderful structure.
Interestingly, the colour of the intersection keeps changing by the self-illuminating lights. Colours include pink, blue, green, yellow, white and saffron.
The stretch is one of the biggest crossroads of Maharashtra costing Rs 16.37 crore. Unique flowering plants have also been planted which are not usually seen anywhere else.
The structure has been designed according to rainwater harvesting where every drop of rain will be saved. No water shortage will be felt on this route even in strong sunlight. The greenery on the stretch will be getting water from the rainwater harvesting system.
The intersection will be self-sufficient in terms of power consumption. A solar tree has been erected which is a structure designed just like a tree.
