The drop in the minimum temperatures in the region continued further. Yet the minimum temperatures in all Vidarbha cities were more than normal (ranging from 4.1 degrees above normal to nearly 7.7 degrees).
Nagpur city recorded a minimum of 18.9 degrees Celsius which is a fall of 0.8 degrees from Thursday which is 6.1 degrees above normal.
While Akola was the warmest in the region at 21.0 degrees ( 7.7 degrees above normal) Gadchiroli was the coldest at 16.8 degrees.
The minimum temperatures recorded in other Vidarbha cities in decreasing order is as follows –Wardha 19.8 degrees (6.1 degrees above normal), Chandrapur 19.6 degrees (5.9 degrees above normal), Amravati 19.5 degrees (4.5 degrees above normal), Gondia 19.2 degrees (6.9 degrees above normal), Yavatmal 19.0 degrees (4.4 degrees above normal), Buldhana 18.6 degrees (4.1 degrees above normal).
