Due to a conflict with the Class 12 Board Exams and the rapid increase in COVID cases in India, JEE aspirants flood Twitter with requests to “Postpone JEE Main 2023.” JEE Main 2023 will currently take place from January 24 to January 31, 2023.
The dates for the JEE Main 2023 exam have already been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). However, many students have begun to flood social media channels like Twitter to voice their opinions owing to what appears to be a conflict with the Board Exams 2023. The unexpected increase in COVID-19 instances in India has also caused worry, in addition to the conflict with the CBSE and ISC Board Exams.
The first session of the JEE Main 2023 exam will be held on January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, 2023, according to the official schedule released by NTA. Concerns about the conflict with the Class 12 Board Examinations have been raised by numerous students.
While the dates for Class 12 Board Exams 2023 for theory and JEE Main 2023 do not clash in dates, students have stated that they would find it difficult to prepare because they would be in the middle of their practical exams.
Most board exams for Class 12 are anticipated to start in February 2023. Students worry that having to sacrifice their study efforts could result in a subpar performance on either the JEE Main Exam or the Board Exam.
Apart from Board Exams, students are still lobbying for the JEE Main 2023 exam date to be postponed, especially the first session so that students who dropped out will have more time to study. Recently, NCPCR also approached NTA to request a delay on the JEE Main Exam.

Due to the significant increase in COVID-19 instances in India, students have also expressed their concerns. Students fear that there might be an increase in cases in the coming weeks given that the new strain, BF.7, has four cases in India.
JEE Main 2023 will currently take place over two sessions in January 2023 and April 2023. The last date to apply for the JEE Main exam on jeemain.nta.nic.in is January 12, 2023.
