Zunaira won Bronze Medal in under 11 years Female category at 7thNational Hapkido Championship 2022 at Amal Dutta Stadium, Dumdum(Kolkata), West Bengal. Zunaira represented Maharashtra State Hapkido Association at National Level and was part of over 50+ members who qualified in Maharashtra State Level Hapkido Championship earlier this year. 7th National Hapkido Championship was organized by “Hapkido Federation of India (HFI)” on 17th and 18th December 2022 and witnessed participation from over 22 states across India.

7th National Hapkido Championship 2022 was inaugurated by Mr. Babun Banerjee, Joint Sec. Bengal Olympic Association, Chief Patron All India Trinamool Congress Sports Cell, and Mohun Bagan Club in presence of all the executive committee members of Hapkido Federation of India.
She has thanked her coache Shihan Shahwar Khan and Hanshi Dr Zakir Khan, President of Maharashtra Pradesh Hapkido Association (MPHA) for her success in the National championship. Zunaira is daughter of Dr. Rizwan Ahmed (CTO, delaPlex) and Dr. Firdaus Nausheen, Government Medical College, Nagpur.
Hapkido is a hybrid sport that is a combination of different Martial Arts such as Taekwon-do, Karate and Judo. Hapkido sport is a brainchild of Grandmaster Ji-Han-Jae. It is popular worldwide especially in UAE, Iran, Korea, Spain, Australia and is gaining popularity in India.
