Manila, 28 Dec (HS):- The death toll from heavy rains in the Philippines has reached 25. About 26 people are missing.
The floods have devastated parts of the Philippines, the National Disaster Response Agency informed on Wednesday. Sixteen of the deaths were reported from South Philippines, five from Luzon’s Bicol area and two from Central Philippines. Bicol has also reported 26 missing people.
More than 400,000 were affected due to the floods. Besides residential houses, roads, bridges and agricultural crops have been badly damaged.
