The Maharashtra Legislative Assembly’s Speaker, Rahul Narvekar, reviewed the concern regarding the construction of the Central Hall in Nagpur’s Vidhan Bhavan.
Rahul Narvekar, an advocate, stated during the meeting that the space at Nagpur Vidhan Bhavan was proving to be insufficient for the Winter Session. If a joint session of both houses of the state legislature is called, it becomes challenging. As a result, it is suggested that the adjacent extra land owned by Government Printing Press be acquired. He urged the concerned officers to acquire the said land as soon as possible.
