‘Insane AI’. The title for a fitness application may surprise many. But the fitness tech start-up is catching attention of those seeking solutions to their interest and willingness to continue with the workout at home.
Insane AI is a start-up of two youth, who have been working on Artificial Intelligence. Anurag Mundhada and Jayesh Hunnurkar, who studied together at IIT, Powai started their career with an attractive job in Bengaluru. At the same time, their interest in the field of Artificial Intelligence continued and they developed an App to promote fitness.
Anurag, a Nagpurian is son of pathologists Dr Shailendra Mundhada and Sheela Mundhada of Druva Laboratories. Mundhada is a family of pathologists as Anurag’s grandfather was also a pathologists and his brother Aniruddha also preferred the same field.
Anurag, however, had different ideas in mind and preferred higher education in engineering.
Talking to The Live Nagpur Anurag said that regular work out is necessary for fitness. But in the fast life going regularly to a Gym becomes difficult. Women face additional problems, as they have to shoulder the responsibility of domestic chores, besides office work. Keeping them fit is necessary.
In an effort to make workout interesting, it has been gametised. Those using the app play games during the workout and also can compete with others. This has been done to motivate subscribers to work out with interest. The app also gives instructions and points out mistakes if committed during the workout. The audio feedback is provided immediately. The count is also recorded for reference in the future.
Anurag said that the prototype was initially made available for fundraising by Nagpur’s Children in Progress (CHIP) Society, a non-government social organisation. Those who use the app gain points by working out and by walking, wit advanced 3-D camera-powered workout tracking technology. For every 2,500 points, one tree was planted. The children under the CHIP project were to take care of the plant. CHIP started by Sukesh and Susha Gandhi in 2013 has achieved a great milestone in the fields of environment, education and health.
In an effort to people make new year resolutions on fitness Insane AI app is helpful. Those interested can download the App through Playstore or use the link https://insaneai.app.lonk/rpj58u8fhrb. Anurag can be contacted by phone at 9967942514 for more information..
