The Haryana Roadway bus driver and conductor, Sushil Kumar, who removed Rishabh Pant from the burning car, wrapped him in a bed sheet, dialed 911, and assisted Rishabh Pant in getting to the hospital within the “golden hour” will be recognized under the Center’s Good Samaritan Scheme, according to the Uttarakhand Police.
The golden hour is the first hour following a serious injury. Before being sent to the Max Hospital in Dehradun, Rishabh was brought to a medical facility in Roorkee.
