The Cycling competition in the season 5 off will be held in various age categories on Jan 8 at the Deekshabhoomi square. The Cyclothon race will at the Vidarbha Level and event carries a total Prizemoney of Rs 1,59,200.
The first race will be flagged off at 5.30am where cyclists in the U-21 boys and girls group will vie for honours. The U-21 race for boys will of 21kms while that of girls will be of 11kms. The top finisher in boys will get Rs 11,000 while the winner in girls group will get Rs8,000 Similarly, the race for U-15 boys for 11kms and girls 8kms will be flagged off at 5.30am.
The third category race will be for U-12 boys and girls in the 8 and 5km category respectively.
The cycling event is supported by Sportsbuds and Maharashtra State Secondary & Higher Secondary Physical Education Teachers Association, Nagpur.
The last date to confirm entries in Jan 5 and registration can be done at various offices of Khasdar Krida Mahotsav or online at the website www.khasdarkridamahotsav.com.
