SVK Shikshan Sanstha an NGO working for Intellectually Challenged Adults, has successfully organised Walk-A-Thon “WE CARE”, in association with Orange City Runner Society, for the sixth consecutive year, to support Inclusive Society, on 8th January 2023 at 7am at Walker’s Road, Ramgiri, Civil Lines, Nagpur.
The fundamental aim of Vatsalya’s Walk-A-Thon is to show that WE CARE for each other and support Inclusive Society with Equal Opportunities, and to increase awareness and understanding of general people towards the desires, needs and capabilities of differently abled people. Thus, support the differently abled people to get their self-respect, rights, welfare and security in our society.
Dr.Vidhya Nair,Vice Chairperson, Orange City Hospital & Reasearch Institute flagged off and inaugurated the walk a thon,while Shri Prashant Gurjar, President, OrangeCity Runners Society and members of OCRI encouraged the participants with various cultural activities..
Beneficiaries of Chitnavis Trust ,Deaf & Dumb School Saoner, Atmadeepam Society, Saraswati Niwasi Gruh,also participated in the event along with the beneficiaries of SVK Shikshan Sanstha.
Shri.Chandramouli,MD, Dots Life sciences,Smt.Lakshmi Mouli,Nisha Thakur ,RJ Nisha,Bharat Awlani,Sathya Vani,were prominently present and extended their support for the cause.
Gayathri Vatsalya, President,SVK Shikshan Sanstha urged the need of creating an Inclusive Society with equal opportunities.Dr.Y.V.Ramana, and parents of SVKites were prominently present.
