Union minister Nitin Gadkari’s Nagpur office reportedly received three death threat calls from an unknown person.
Initial reports indicate that three calls with threatening messages were received on the BSNL landline of the office, the staff and the Nagpur Police informed.The calls started around 11:30am, the report added.
The caller, whose identity is being investigated, reportedly threatened to kill Gadkari. Some reports also claim that he also threatened to blow up the office. However, a confirmation from the police is awaited.
Security was beefed up outside Gadkari’s Nagpur office following the calls.
