The election campaign for MLC elections from the Teachers Constituency started on a bigger note with prominent leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi attending the meeting.
With the support of more than 20 teachers’ organisations Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) candidate Sudhakar Adbale is confident to win the MLC elections from the Teachers’ Constituency.
The major leaders of MVA including former minister Sunil Kedar, senior academician Dr Babanrao Taywade and MLC Abhijit Wanjari attended the meeting in support of Adbale. His close rival Nagorao Ganar is facing a tough time in seeking a verdict in his favour for the third consecutive term. Ganar is the official candidate of Bharatiya Janata Party.
Adbale has claimed that the MVA voters are united for his official candidature. The discontent of another teachers’ leader Rajendra Zade has been sorted out.
Khemraj Konde, who leads the Nationalist Congress Party’s teachers’ wing also announced full support for Adbale. Congress leader Atul Londhe also announced complete support for the official MVA candidate.
The meeting of all the parties in presence of the party leaders was held on Sunday.
