The ride started from Zero Mile at 5.30 in the morning. The riders traveled to Jabalpur via ORR, Mansar, Seoni, and Lakhanadaun then returned via the same route.
10 brave hearts participated and 5 could make it to the finish line within the stipulated 40hrs.
Shreyas Mahatme, the youngest of the lot at 22, and Devanand Meshram from Warud, Prabir Chatterjee, the oldest of the lot, were among the finishers. Other finishers included Nagpur’s Jai Prakash Singh and Gaurav Gajabhiye. Devanand Meshram, Shreyas Mahatme, and Prabir Chatterjee became Super randonneurs of the season 22-23 with this ride. It was one of the most difficult routes for the 600km BRM, and it was managed by Ride responsible Samir Lohi and other NR members Mangesh Pahade and Jitesh Thakkar.
The next big ride, a 1000km BRM Nagpur-Hyderabad-Nagpur, is on February 23, 2023. Registration is already open for this event. Interested riders should contact the NR office at 7756035130 for more information.
