The crucial and congested railway line between Nagpur and Howrah will undergo Mega block for the next 80 hours in an effort to speed up the third railway line. As a result, the Shivnath Express, Kamakhya Express, and five other trains will be delayed for 20 minutes to 2.5 hours at various stations.
A third track is being laid at Chacher station in Nagpur division. For that non interlocking work will be done from January 31 to February 3, 2023 (i.e. in 80 hours). No passenger train will be cancelled or diverted in this. However, some trains will be halted for 20 minutes to two and half hour at some stations.
Tatanagar-Itwari Express and Korba Express will be halted at Gondia and Bhandara for two and a half hours, Nizamuddin Express at Nagpur and Kamptee for two hours, Kurla Kamakhya Express will be halted at Nagpur and Kamptee for 45 minutes. Indore-Puri Humsafar Express will run 40 minutes late at Nagpur and Kamptee and Itwari-Bilaspur Shivnath Express will run 2.5 hours late from Itwari.
