On Sunday, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) detained six minor children who threw stones at the Vande Bharat Express. The stones damaged the train between Kalamna and Kamptee in Nagpur. Two coaches of the 20826 train, C6 and C10 were vandalized.
According to reports, an RPF team rushed to the scene and inquired about the role of children who engaged in the act while playing alongside the track. The information about the stones thrown at the train was provided by Sagar Thakre, Deputy Inspector of the Maintenance Team.
Rupesh Bansod, Sub-Inspector, Kalamna RPF Unit, and his team, along with Rahul Pandey, arrived at kilometer 1120/26.
The RPF team was sent to patrol near the track, and it was discovered during the investigation that the incident was carried out by some children from a nearby colony. Six of the children were detained by police after being tracked down, and a case was filed against them under Section 153 of the Indian Railway Act.
