Ramdas Ambatkar, MLC has been nominated on the Senate of Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
Ambatkar was elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Council in 2018. He was nominated to RTMNU Senate under Section 28 (2) of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act 2016.
Ambatkar was a member of the Senate and Management Council of the University, prior to his election as MLC. He is among the two representatives of the State Legislature on the Senate, as provided in the Universities Act. The other MLC nominated on the Senate is Pravin Datke.
