Anurag Kharche:
Given the current situation in the city, I believe the fine should be increased. There are still people who violate various traffic laws. All age groups up to and including 55 years of age violate the rules. I believe that city traffic cops should begin punching people’s licenses. If the license is punched more than three times, it should be sent to the RTO to be cancelled. That is how habitual traffic violators can be treated.
Shikha Batra:
In my opinion, the traffic rules should be stricter for the violators so that they are scared. Fine for using a mobile phone while driving should be increased in such an order that they find it difficult to pay and start following the rules. People’s and children’s practical knowledge will be extremely beneficial in gaining control of the situation. Awareness campaigns, as well as demonstrations of the consequences, will be extremely beneficial.
Rupesh Maraskolhe :
Citizens should be more aware of traffic rules and regulations. The city police should conduct awareness campaigns on a regular basis. Furthermore, I believe that citizens should be aware of what the police do with the collected fine. For example, the practice of collecting fines should result in the police giving away a helmet if the violator is not wearing one. In terms of phone usage, regardless of the amount, people pay the fine and get away with it. It is an important and necessary step in raising public awareness.
