The Maharashtra State Board will conduct the HSC/Class 12th examination in 2023 from February 21 through March 20, 2023. A total of 14 lakh students have registered for the exam. Seven lakh are boys and six lakh are girls.
The students across 10,388 colleges will be appearing for the exam. The allotted centres for the examination are 3195. Exams are to be conducted in the Science, Arts, Commerce, Vocational and ITI streams.
Counselling centres are introduced for the students to prevent depression and stress. The counselling centres across districts are also helping the students to clear their doubts and guide them in regard to their subject. On the district level, a total of 10 counsellors have been appointed. 2 counsellors have been appointed for each district.
“All preparations for the examination have been completed,” Chintaman Vanjari, Divisional Chairman of Higher and Secondary Education, Nagpur, told The Live Nagpur. The police are also assisting with security in and around the centres. Remarkably, the counselling centres have received a very positive response from students via the helpline.”
