Good news for Nagpurians. Krazy Castle Amusement Park near Ambazari Lake has been restored by Maha Metro and is anticipated to reopen to the public soon. However, the opening might take sometime, according to sources.
According to sources, Krazy Castle once had six rides for kids. The total number of installations by Metro now stands at thirteen. 13 rides will therefore be available when the theme park reopens.
Here, Metro is building pavilions to display the cultures of different nations. Also, it suggests building a food court.
The Nagpur Improvement Trust is the owner of the Krazy Castle property (NIT). Haldiram Foods had received it on lease from NIT. Its contract was terminated as Metro was building pillars inside the park. Haldiram received a 19 crore commission from Metro, and NIT gave them the property.
Metro then appointed a consultant and prepared a plan for a bigger amusement park. NIT had sanctioned this plan last year. Metro then restored the rides and installed new ones. Now the park is almost ready for opening.
