The temperature has started to rise and the heat has gotten worse since the third week of February. The daytime high is currently 37 degrees Celsius. The heat was kept under control by the night dew, but today the lowest temperature has also begun to rise. The first week of March is expected to see an uptick in temperature.
Nagpur recorded a drop of 1.1 degree Celsius in day temperature in 24 hours to 35.2 degree Celsius on Sunday. Still, this is 2.6 degree Celsius above average. It is feeling a bit chilly outside as the night temperature is at 16.6 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature is expected to reach 19 degree Celsius during the next week. The daytime temperature is also expected to reach 38 degree Celsius.
Not only Nagpur but the whole Vidarbha is experiencing the heat. Akola has been the hot- test with 38.2 degree Celsius. Along with this, Amravati and Brahmapuri have reached 37 degree Celsius, Chandrapur and Gandia have reached 36 degree Celsius.
