The local golf player and the Group Captain (retd) in Indian Air Force Ravi Bhate has become eligible as a golf referee at international level.
Recently, he represented Indian Golf Union at a seminar organised in Scotland.
Ravi Bhate who has acquired the technical knowledge in golf for the last twenty years would officiate as a golf referee during nine competitions to be held in British Colombia.He learnt nuance of gold during Covid crisis. He is the only person from Vidarbha to be elevated for the coveted post of golf referee.
