Additional Commissioner Ram Joshi reviewed preparedness in the city, in view of the rise in Corona cases. The inspection was also a part of the mock drill, which is being carried out across the nation. The inspection was undertaken under the guidance of Nagpur Municipal Corporation Administrator Radhakrishnan B.
Joshi reviewed facilities in Indira Gandhi Hospital, Gandhi Nagar; Maternity Home in Panchpaoli, and Isolation Hospital.
Health Officer Dr Narendra Bahirwar, Superintending Engineer Manoj Talewar, Executive Engineer Sunil Uike, Additional Health Officer Dr Vijay Joshi, and officers at NMC Zones were present.
Joshi directed the hospital authorities to be prepared for the admission of patients. In Indira Gandhi Hospital 80 Oxygen beds, 16 ICU beds, and a PSA plant are available. In Isolation Hospital 30 Oxygen beds, and a PSA Plant are available. In all 110 Oxygen beds and a Liquid Oxygen Plant are available in the Panchpaoli Maternity Hospital.
Joshi also issued certain directions to ensure complete services to Corona patients.
