Action was taken by a squad of Nagpur Rural RTO, under the guidance of Regional Transport Officer, Vijay Chavan, Assistant RTO, Ashfaq Ahmed and Motor Vehicle Inspector, Tushar Bobde on Monday.
Vijay Chavhan told media “The speed gun records the data of the vehicles driving at a high speed. With the help of the technology we come to know about the vehicles that are over speeding at the Expressway in order to reach their destination quickly. A campaign has been launched to take action against such drivers. Additionally, the drivers are being stopped and counseled for half an hour on the spot. It is extremely necessary to have control over the speed in order to prevent accidents.”
