School Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar announced that a committee of experts will be appointed to take action against private schools that charge high fees from parents and withhold educational certificates of students for fee collection and the law will be changed to curb these schools.
During the Corona period, the state government had appointed a scrutiny committee to look into the complaints against the schools charging high fees from the parents. Kesarkar informed that this committee has resolved the complaints of some parents.
If parents do not get justice from this scrutiny committee, the government is trying to change the law to curb private schools. A committee of education experts will soon be appointed to amend the law. Principals of schools, parents association representatives, journalists will be included in this committee.
