The last date for submission of application forms for admission to five post-graduate diploma courses conducted by the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has been extended from April 19 to May 5. The admission will be carried out through CUET (Common University Entrance Test).
The application form is available on the website http://cuet.nta/nic.in. The entrance test will be held in English for post-graduate diploma courses in English and Hindi Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Radio and Television journalism, and Digital Media.
IIMC Director Prof Rakesh Goswami has informed that those who had applied earlier but did not select IIMC can select the option between May 6 and 8, after the opening of the correction window.
The applicants have also been advised to properly mention the course code, mentioned in the websites of NTA and IIMC. The question paper will be 100 marks and all the questions will have to be answered. The question paper has been divided into Language and vocabulary; general knowledge, mathematics and analytical capability (25 questions), and questions relating to mass communication and journalism (75 questions).
Any graduate can apply for the courses. The students appearing for their final; examination can also apply. They can submit the final mark sheet by September 30. Those born on or after August 1, 1998, are eligible to apply for the courses.
