Ahead of the 2024 elections, the Maharashtra BJP has proposed launching its own portal, which will provide free online mock tests for competitive entrance examinations to engineering, medical, pharmacy, and law courses to individuals who have turned 18 and are newly eligible to vote.
The plan was revealed by the BJP’s state chairman Chandrashekhar Bawankule on Friday during a closed-door meeting with the party’s leaders in Pune. As part of the initiative, the party has launched a registration portal at http://www.bjpexams.in. The proposal presently solely targets new voters in Maharashtra, but it could be expanded in the future, they said.
According to the sources, Bawankule stated during the meeting that the programme “is a good opportunity to attract youth by assisting them in shaping their careers, which begins with admission to various courses.” They also stated that the party is working on launching a state-level initiative that would provide 1.5 lakh youth with skill development training and guaranteed jobs.
According to sources, Bawankule detailed the concept for the mock test portal to the gathering, saying that 10 lakh students in the state appear every tear for various entrance tests for admission to professional institutions. “He said that if we help them, they will come to like us.” It will be a direct electoral benefit for the party, thus party cadres should reach out to every youth in that time,” according to sources.
The state chief has also directed party leaders to record videos of the project and post them on social media. “Everyone should run social media advertising campaigns for the portal.”
When you visit the website, the front page displays the motto “Free online test series for all Maharashtra students.”
“BJP Maharashtra organises free online mock test series for MHT-CET, JEE, NEET, and MH-CET LAW exams,” according to a notice on the home page.
“Mock test series will be a separate test based on each subject,” it claimed. Students can participate whenever they choose. Students can immediately access and analyze their test results on their PC, laptop, or mobile device.”
Furthermore, the message stated, “BJP Maharashtra has appealed to the colleges and classes to involve the maximum number of students so that the students can get admission in the country’s reputed Engineering, pharmacy, medical, and law colleges.”
The registration form, which is only a click away, requests information such as name, address, phone number, and age.
