Deendayal Thali will now be made available in the evenings.
The new venture of Shri Siddhivinayak Seva Foundation to provide meals in evening will be inaugurated on April 25, at Deendayal Thali, Government Medical College.
The foundation provides healthy meals to patients and their relatives at a very low cost of Rs 10 every day.
The foundation, extending its social outreach programme, will also make evening meals available.
“Government Medical College is one of the largest in Asia. We have seen a lot of people from and around the state seeking medical help at the centre. Deendayal Thali is our effort to make things easier for them. The evening meals will include the use of Millets,” added Joshi.
The programme ‘Krutatnata’ will be inaugurated at the hands of Dr Mohan Bhagwat, Sarsanghachalak, Rashtriya Svayamsevak Sangh (RSS); Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
Mohan Mate, MLA; Dr Vipin Itankar, District Collector; Radhakrishna B, Municipal Commissioner; Dr Raj Gajbhiye, Dean, Government Medical College will be prominently present at the event.
On the occasion, Health Cards will be distributed to Divyang students. The foundation, along with it, many other social outreach programme has started Deendayal Rugnaseva Help Centre for patients and their relatives to help navigate medical help within the centre with ease and simplicity.
Thecentrewill be inaugurated at the hands of Dr Mohan Bhagwat.
Parag Saraf, Ritesh Gawande, Gajanan Nishitkar, Mahendra Bhugawkar, Deven Dasture, Bhavan Patel, Banty Kukde, Sandeep Gawai, Rashmi Fadnavis, Aditya Thakur, Bhushan Keskar, Sunil Kadgaye, Manjusha Bhure, and Ram Ahirwar worked hard for the success of the venture, stated press release.
