Shah Rukh Khan’s next performance on the big screen will have a personal touch to it. The superstar will appear in a commercial for his son Aryan Khan’s luxury streetwear business Dyavolx. Surprisingly, this is also Aryan’s directorial debut. On Monday, the first teaser for the brand’s advertisement was unveiled.
A paintbrush is spotted on the floor in the teaser, and presumably, Shah Rukh picks it up, though the camera angle switches before the face is revealed. Towards the end, SRK’s visage emerges for a fraction of a second, just long enough for fans to recognise the Pathaan star.
A snapshot on the brand’s web page shows Aryan Khan sitting in the director’s chair and inspecting the monitor. Aryan is recognised as the ad’s director and one of the creative minds behind the concept in another article. Aryan Khan discussed the brand and his aspirations for it in an interview with Vogue. “As of now, we’re thinking of an apparel line that will be brought to the consumer by limited edition capsule collections, made available to them via drops on our web store,” he stated. There may be further verticals as we progress,”
Aryan Khan, unlike Shah Rukh Khan, is not interested in pursuing a career as an actor. As a director, showrunner, and screenwriter, he is working on his debut web series.
Suhana Khan, Aryan’s sister, will make her acting debut in Netflix’s The Archies. Zoya Akhtar directs the film. Shah Rukh, on the other hand, will be featured in the next film Jawan.
