A tourist who came for jungle safari died due to sudden cardiac arrest. This unfortunate incident took place at Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR) on May 1. The 71 year old deceased has been identified as Keshav Balagi, a resident of Mumbai.
He was enjoying a jungle safari with his family in Tadoba Core. Meanwhile, he suddenly started having pain in his chest in the Kala Aamba area.
He was taken to a local health center with the help of a driver and a tourist guide. The doctors conducted a preliminary examination and declared him dead. The family of the deceased was consoled by Tadoba Administration.
At present, summer vacations have led to a rush of tourists for jungle safari in Tadoba. Jungle safari timings have also been changed so that tourists do not suffer from heatstroke.
