After weeks of excitement, actor Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha will get engaged on May 13 in New Delhi. They were spotted together at a lunch date in Mumbai last month, which sparked rumors that they were dating.
They’ve been seen together on multiple occasions since then, and it was widely assumed that they’d get engaged while Parineeti’s cousin, Priyanka Chopra, was in the nation promoting her freshly launched show Citadel. While neither Parineeti nor Raghav confirmed their relationship, others appeared to imply they were.
Hardy Sandhu, Parineeti’s Code Name: Tiranga co-star, claimed to confirm speculation during a media encounter, saying that he had already “called and congratulated” Parineeti. “I am overjoyed that it is finally occurring. “I wish her the best of luck,” Harrdy said in an interview with DNA. On March 28, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjeev Arora took to Twitter to congratulate Parineeti and Raghav. “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to @raghav_chadha and @ParineetiChopra,” he added. May their union be abundantly blessed with love, joy, and companionship. Best regards!!!”
In the midst of the speculation, Parineeti stated, “If I were nobody or they were not interested in me, that would probably mean that I did not achieve what I tried to achieve as an actor because a successful actor will be famous, will be a part of everybody’s homes, a part of living room conversation, a part of the news, a part of the news channels, a part of digital media, a part of the paparazzi culture, and everything.” While leaving Parliament, Chadha told reporters, “Aap mujhse rajneeti ki sawal kariye, Parineeti ki sawal na kariye (you ask me questions about politics, not Parineeti)…”
Chadha is a senior AAP leader and an MP. Parineeti made her acting debut with the 2011 romantic comedy Ladies vs Ricky Bahl. She will next be seen in Chamkila opposite Diljit Dosanjh.
