The victory of Congress in Karnataka was celebrated in Nagpur as well. A large number of workers gathered at Devadia Congress Bhawan, the city Congress office located in Mahal.
Congress Workers celebrated this victory by bursting crackers and feeding each other sweets. A large number of women workers, including senior party leader, former MP Vilas Muttemwar, and city president Vikas Thackeray were present.
The Congress has won a landslide victory in the Karnataka Assembly Elections. The party has captured 136 out of 224 seats in the assembly. At the same time, the BJP, which has been in power for the last four years, has faced a bad defeat. The party seems to be leading on only 65 seats.
