Love Jihad Sangharsha Samiti has given a call for Maharashtra Bandh on May 19, to protest an attempt to enter Tryambakeshwar Temple and offer a ‘Chadar’. The place is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas and a sacred place of Hindus.
The regional head of the organisation Gaju Ghodke condemned the attempt to desacred the Hindu temple. In view of increasing incidents to hurt the religious feelings of Hindus, love jihad, atrocities and conversions, the organisation has appealed to the Hindus to wake up. Ghodke has given a call of Maharashtra Bandh on May 19.
Meanwhile, an offence has been registered against some non-Hindu people for attempting to enter the Tryambakeshwar Temple. Ghodke has demanded that offence under Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime (MCOCA) should be registered against the guilty.
