Haj pilgrims will depart from Nagpur Embarkation Point for Haj (Saudi Arabia) after a three year pandemic break. The Central Haj Committee has announced the departure schedule of Haj pilgrims from Nagpur.
The first flight will leave Nagpur on June 7. The Committee states the schedule will last until June 22.
In all, 3,266 pilgrims will fly from Nagpur. These pilgrims are from Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and several adjacent districts of Madhya Pradesh.
According to sources, the airport management is trying to speed up the departures.
In a circular released recently, the Central Haj Committee announced pilgrims’ planned departure times from 22 embarkation points across India. Nagpur, Mumbai and Aurangabad are the three embarkation points.
