Nagpur-Hyderabad ‘Vande Bharat’ express is likely to be introduced soon. The distance of 581 Km between the two stations is presently covered in about ten hours. With the introduction of the Vande Bharat train, the time will be reduced to about six and a half hours.
The demand for the Nagpur-Hyderabad Vande Bharat train was made by Maharashtra Minister for Forests, Culture, and Fisheries Sudhir Mungantiwar, through a letter to the Railway Minister on December 20, 2022. The demand has been accepted and Railway Minister Ashvin Vaishnav announced that the train will be introduced soon.
MP Ramdas Tadas also made efforts for the express train between Nagpur and Hyderabad. People from the Vidarbha region will be benefited from the introduction of the train.
The train is expected to depart from Nagpur at 6 am and will reach Hyderabad around 12.30 noon. On the return journey, the train would leave Hyderabad at 1.30 pm and would reach Nagpur at 8 pm. The train would stop at Ballarshah, Sirpur, Kagajnagar, Ramagundam, and Kazipeth. Efforts are being made to have a stoppage at Sewagram in the Wardha district.
