The Central Railway has announced the commencement of an experimental phase of train halts at Hinganghat Station for a duration of six months, beginning on May 28, 2023. This strategic decision aims to improve connectivity and convenience for passengers in the region.
According to a press release, several trains will now make scheduled stops at Hinganghat Station during this experimental period. The first train is the 16032 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra – Chennai Express, which will arrive at Hinganghat at 10:28 AM and depart at 10:30 AM daily, starting from May 28, 2023.
The 16031 Chennai – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express is scheduled to arrive at Hinganghat at 11:42 PM and depart at 11:44 PM daily, effective May 29, 2023. Another train, the 12968 Jaipur – Chennai Express, is slated to arrive at Hinganghat at 3:38 PM and depart at 3:40 PM daily, commencing from May 29, 2023.
Furthermore, the 12967 Chennai – Jaipur Express will arrive at Hinganghat at 9:03 AM and depart at 9:05 AM daily, starting from May 29, 2023. In addition, the 12511 Gorakhpur – Kochuveli Express will stop at Hinganghat at 5:28 AM and depart at 5:30 AM daily, effective May 29, 2023.
Lastly, the 12512 Kochuveli – Gorakhpur Express is expected to arrive at Hinganghat at 2:13 PM and depart at 2:15 PM daily, starting from May 29, 2023. These changes in train schedules aim to provide enhanced travel options and improved connectivity for residents of Hinganghat and nearby areas.
