The temperature has slightly dipped in Nagpur, yet the highest temperature continues to hover over 40 degrees Celsius in the city. As per IMD, Nagpur witnessed the highest temperature of 40.8 on Friday.
The data from Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) Nagpur showed that Chandrapur was the hottest in Vidarbha, with a maximum temperature of 42.2 degrees Celsius. Akola and Wardha followed closely with the highest temperature recorded above around 41 degrees Celsius.
Other important cities in Vidarbha including Gadchiroli, Gondia, Bramhapuri, Washim and Amravati had the highest temperature of around 40.5 degrees Celsius. Yavatmal recorded 39.5, and Buldhana saw 38.0 degrees Celsius as the highest temperature for the day.
