In a surprising turn of events, two individuals named Tushar Kumar, residing in different parts of India, have both claimed the 44th rank in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) civil services examination. In a separate incident, two women from Madhya Pradesh, Ayasha Fatima and Ayasha Makrani, found themselves in a perplexing situation as they both claimed the 184th rank in the civil services exam.
One, Tushar Kumar, hails from Rewari in Haryana, while the other resides in Bhagalpur, Bihar. Both candidates possess call letters with the same roll number and assert that they appeared for the personality test on May 8 in New Delhi.
The matter came to light when Bihar’s Tushar Kumar filed a complaint with the local police, alleging that Rewari’s Tushar Kumar had falsely claimed the rank. Bihar’s Tushar maintains that he appeared for the test on the same day and accuses Rewari’s Tushar of forging his admit card. On the other hand, Rewari’s Tushar plans to visit the UPSC office to address the issue.
A similar incident came to light when two women from Madhya Pradesh, Ayasha Fatima and Ayasha Makrani, both claimed the 184th rank in the civil services exam. The women, who live 200 kilometers apart, produced admit cards with the same roll number, leading to allegations of fraud and demands for clarification.
The UPSC has assured investigations into both cases to rectify errors and determine the right candidates. The civil services examination in India attracts a massive number of applicants, making it one of the most competitive exams in the country.
