After a short relief, Nagpur is witnessing a surge in temperature as the city recorded 42.5 degree Celsius as the highest temperature on Thursday. Akola recorded the highest temperature in Vidarbha at 44.3 degrees Celsius, followed by Wardha and Amravati at around 43.8 degrees.
All other major cities, including Washim, Gadchiroli, Chandrapur, Gondia and Bramhapuri, recorded the highest temperature of around 42.5 degrees. Buldhana alone recorded 41 degrees Celsius.
