Pune based organization Temple Connect which is a leading platform and an initiative to connect the Global Hindu Temples is organizing International Temples Convention and Expo, (ITCX) in the holy town of Varanasi from 22nd to 24th July 2023. This will be the first of its kind conglomeration of Temples from across India and from globe to share their best practices, learnings, and invaluable insights on Temple Management. The inauguration on 22nd will be done by RSS Chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat. The convention will also have presence of government representatives
from the centre and various states. The Ministry of Tourism Govt of India is the official partner of this convention.
Girish Kulkarni, founder Temple Connect informed that the main aim of ITCX is empowering temple ecosystems with new age ideas to deliver a better experience to visitors and devotees. Around 350 temples across India and abroad are participating out of which 285 have already confirmed till date. The leading temples from India like Kashi Vishwanath Devasthan, Girnar Datta Mandir, Ma Vaishnodevi Mandir, Kaal Bhairav Mandir Ujjain, Mahakaleshwar Jyotirling, Kankaal Kali Ma Mandir are a few of the Many temples invited and participating at the convention
There are confirmed 27 International temple’s representations which are mainly from the UK, US, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Nepal, Dubai and Netherlands. He added that ITCX will include deliberations on key topics, presentation of new age ideas, expo on temple technology management, products, sustainability, funds management, mob management, and more. The convention will as well encourage awards on various categories in the temples ecosystem and recognitions for excellence in temple management. Key topics to be deliberated by participating temple managements, trustees and CEO include temple security, financial management, disaster management, crowd management, procurement policies, fire safety, enhancing infrastructure, information technology, intellectual property rights etc.
