On the occasion of World Environment Day, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board invites travellers to embark on a transformative journey to experience over 50 eco-friendly rural homestays, embracing sustainability and offering an authentic and sustainable experience. These homestays reflect a commitment to minimize the ecological footprint while preserving the region’s cultural heritage.
Located in picturesque locations, such as Kekadiya, Khari, Sabarwani, Kokhra, Thadipather, and Ladhpura Khaas, each homestay provides breathtaking views of lush green forests, exciting activities like trekking and birdwatching and the opportunity to immerse oneself in traditional agricultural practices and cultural activities of the villages. Visitors can also enjoy the majestic Sanjay Dubri Tiger Reserve and explore the ancient rock shelter paintings and Jain Temples.
Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has been dedicated to minimizing the carbon footprint in the state, making it an eco-friendly destination for tourists. The state’s initiatives include responsible tourism practices, safe tourism destinations for women, responsible souvenirs, clean destinations through solid waste management, and programs that raise awareness and remove barriers for differently-abled travellers. Skill development and employment generation for the youth are also key features of the state’s development plan.

MP offerings
Kekadiya and Khari – Awaken to the melodious chorus of birdsong as you open your eyes to breathtaking lush green forests in the homestays of Kekadiya and Khari. Rock Shelter Paintings and Jain Temple
Sabarwani – Just 20 kms away from Pachmarhi Sabarwani, is one of the unique hill station homestays where visitors can find exciting homestays and enjoy activities like trekking, bird watching and hot spring alongside dazzling millet dishes of the region.
Choti Anhoni and Badi Anhoni
