The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the results of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) by next week, University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar confirmed on Wednesday.
The NTA has reportedly assured the parliamentary committee on Education that the results will be announced within the mentioned timeframe. Prof. Kumar expressed confidence in the NTA’s ability to deliver on this commitment. The NEET-UG examination was conducted on May 7, with the exception of Manipur, where it was postponed due to prevailing law and order concerns. The exam in Manipur took place on June 6, and more than 8,000 candidates appeared for it. The results will be made available for download on the official NEET website, and the NTA will also disclose the names of all India toppers, category-wise cut-off marks, and percentile ranks. The scorecards will include subject-wise marks and all India ranks, among other details.
