The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) has proposed the construction of cement concrete roads from Mount Road to Salve Chowk, Akashvani Chowk, and Maharajbag Chowk. The order to restrict vehicular movement on these roads from Mount Road to Salve Chowk, Akashvani Chowk, and Maharajbag Chowk has been issued by NMC Commissioner and Administrator Shri. Radhakrishnan B. The order will be implemented until September 30, as specified in the directive.
The traffic on the roads from Mount Road to Salve Chowk, Akashvani Chowk, and Maharajbag Chowk will be diverted through alternate routes. Additionally, the order issued by Commissioner Radhakrishnan B. mandates the installation of LED diversions boards to inform drivers during nighttime. LED barricading is also required. Temporary dual lanes will be created on the opposite side for traffic movement. The contractor will be held responsible for any deviations from the specified rules. Traffic police should also enforce the directions given. Adequate arrangements should be made to facilitate residents or office-goers residing or working on these roads, as specified in the Commissioner’s order.
