A 40 year old male came with history of abdominal swelling which was progressively increasing in size since last 4 months with abdominal pain, loss of appetite, early satiety.
Patient was presented on 15th of February 2023 .He was examined and investigated by Dr Piyush Marudwar who is Senior Consultant Gastroenterologist,Liver specialist and Advance Endoscopist , which showed hemoglobin of 7.1 gram . CECT abdomen was done which showed large pseudo pancreatic cyst, of size 19×14.7,×18 cm, He was suffering from Chronic Pancreatitis. A pancreatic pseudocyst is an encapsulated collection of homogenous fluid with little or no necrotic tissue within it.
Dr Piyush Marudwar said , “CEA and CA 19-9 was within normal limits . Diagnostic Significance of CEA and CA 19-9 is for the Early Diagnosis of Cancer.”
Endoscopically made a hole between stomach and cyst and deployed stent. Sudden gush of fluid was seen coming into stomach. Next day patients symptoms improved. After 2 days of admission, patient was discharged.
On 14th of March 2023 , USG abdomen was performed , which is a medical imaging test that uLarge Pseudopancreatic Cyst in a 40 year old man removed without surgery.
Dr Piyush Marudwar Endoscopically removed stent and patient was discharged. So Without any scar or Abdominal incision Dr Piyush Marudwar successfully treated patient.
Recently the patient came for a follow-up and he was symptomatic.
